Over the galaxy, past the stars
Throughout the Universe
We learned about colors and spectrometers
And Infrared stars that burst.

Hubble and Hershel and Beagle and SIRTF
Chandra, SOFIA, SOHO
Jackie and Kay and Rosalie
Told us where to go……..

Earth is a ball
The moon is a pea
The sun is an SUV
The solar winds blow
And gas, you know
Heats up the galaxy.

Lou, Galileo, and Jenny, too (TIEU)
Matt, Mary, Jennifer
Our rovers they screamed
With cookies and cream
The atmosphere made it blur.

We looked at the sun through the big telescope
Jim Thielman showed us how
The sunspots flared gas
And we had a blast
With magnets from a cow.

Denise showed us telescopes looking at stars
Spirals and little specks
Michelle built a scope for Invisible Light
And Rhonda rubbed our backs.

We made the Sun Cookies
With Lewis and Kline
We looked up in the sky.
Hooray for the fun!!!
