I want to share some websites and mailing
lists that I use that you guys might be interested in. NASA
has several mailing lists that you can subscribe to I receive
them all. I get the kids one so I can use them in my classroom.
NASA Spacelink Has education
resources and you can subscribe to the Spacelink Express
mailing list (bottom of the frame on the left ): http://spacelink.nasa.gov/.index.html
Science @ NASA Also has a
mailing list subscription (left side in the margin): http://science.nasa.gov/
Check out
this picture and explanation of 'wrinkle ridges' on
Mars. And there's also a great young crater! This
page makes so much more sense after our workshop!
Yahoo Group: gsnasa
This group is comprised of members of a training taken
at Macy concerning Global Climate Change. Here is a
message to Betsy inviting us to join their group:
"This is great! I hope you'll
share some of the things you learned! In order to
access the files each person needs a yahoo id. It's
as simple as registering at yahoo. You can get a yahoo
id from the yahoogroups page. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/
There are several places on the page (left and right)
to register. After you register search for "gsnasa"
in the search box and it will bring up a listing of
our group. Click on the link and it will take you
to the page to register for the group. Once they register
it will ask me to confirm the new members. After I
confirm that's all there is to it! They can reach
all the files and bookmarks that have been posted
as well as communicate with the group. Have a great
time! I know I loved it there!"
